(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Defenders kept it close for a half tonight but couldn't hang on, falling 81-61 in a physical matchup with Mt. Marty. Dordt couldn't overcome second-half shooting woes, and went 1-7 from behind the arch for the game.
Bret Van Wyk had 18 points and Luke Ruter had 11 to lead the way for Dordt. Brandon Haan and Derek Keizer each chipped in nine points. Mt. Marty's Justin Bonnichsen had 19 points for the Lancers.
