December 13, 2003
(Lincoln, Nebraska) The Dordt College Defenders slipped to 1-4 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference with a ten point loss to the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves in Lincoln Saturday night. Dordt led 20-19 in the first half only to see the hosts go on an 11-0 run to establish a double digit lead.
Dordt couldn't dent the lead until the second half when they scored the first ten points to cut the lead down to five. Wesleyan answered back by pushing the lead back to 12 and again the Defenders answered with a run to cut it back to 69-64 but the hill was too steep to climb and the Defenders lost for the second year in a row in Lincoln 79-69.
