Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Northwestern

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Defenders gave up a game-long lead with two minutes left in the game to give the Northwestern Red Raiders the win. Dordt climbed back to within two points with less than :30 to go in the game, but Luke Ruter's turn-around jumper missed and Northwestern converted free throws at the end to seal the win.

Luke Ruter had 18 points to lead the way for Dordt. Brandon Haan chipped in 12 points and nine boards. Northwestern had four players in double figures, led by Jeff Scaap's 17 points. The two teams combined committed 48 fouls in tonight's contest.
