Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Dakota State

(Madison, South Dakota) The Dordt Defenders picked up a non-conference road win tonight winning 77-60 over Dakota State. The Defenders held a 44-33 lead at halftime before Dakota Stae narrowed the gap to five points at 55-50. Dordt then went on an 11-0 run to extend the lead to double digits again and were never seriously challenged again in the match.
Kyle Van Arendonk and Brandon Haan had 15 points each to lead the Defender offense. Bret Van Wyk added 11 points. Dakota State's Ryan Burggraff had 14 points to lead the Trojans.
