(Orange City, Iowa) The Dordt Defenders lost a close battle with Northwestern tonight, falling by the score of 69-77 despite holding the Red Raiders to only fifty shots in the game. Dordt was down 10-22 at one point in the first half, but battled back to make a run, but it wasn't enough. Evan Beimers led the Defenders with 15 points and 7 rebounds, while Northwestern's Brandon Woudstra scored 22 points and grabbed 9 boards.
