(Lincoln, Nebraska) The Dordt Defenders lost a heartbreaker tonight, losing to Nebraska Wesleyan 69-68. Evan Beimers put the Defenders up by two with 3.9 seconds on the clock, but Nebraska Wesleyan's Cory Carmichael hit a last second 3-point basket to give the Prarie Wolves the victory. The two teams were tied at 38 at halftime. Evan Beimers had 21 points tonight to lead the Defenders, while Eric Maas had 13 points and 7 boards.
