(Palm Beach, Florida) The Dordt Defenders battled back from an 18-8 first half deficit to defeat Palm Beach Atlantic in the first round of the Sailfish Classic at West Palm Beach, Florida. Ryan Dooyema came off the bench to score 12 points and three other players were in double figures for the Defenders with Kyle Van Arendonk-18, Eric Maas 14 and Evan Beimers dumping in 11. The Defenders outrebounded the Sailfish 38-37.
