(Fremont, Nebraska) The Dordt College Defender baseball team was done in by five errors in a game one loss by 5-0 with Midland in Fremont, Nebraska.

The hosts scored one run in the first on a hit and an error and then tacked on four runs with the benefit of three hits and three errors in the second inning. All five runs were unearned.

Dordt mustered five hits but didn't string the hits together, stranding no more than one runner in any inning.

Nick Serrato had two hits for the Defenders while Andy Kollbaum, Jason Wapnick and Bryan Wallman each had a single a piece.

Ben Van Kekerix took the loss after allowing six hits with two strikeouts and one walk. None of the runs charged to Van Kekerix were earned.
