(Fremont, Nebraska) Midland mirrored their 1-0 win for a second one run win in game two of their twinbill with Dordt College, sweeping the Defenders in a pair of games played in Fremont, Nebraska on Saturday afternoon, April 20.

Dordt gave up a run in the second when they allowed three errors with two outs, and Midland had their final margin of victory.

Dordt's best chances came in the fifth, sixth and seventh when they had baserunners. The fifth and sixth frames ended on doubleplays and the seventh ended with Dordt putting runners on first and second by virtue of walks. The game ended on a ground out by Andy Kollbaum.

Dordt got singles from Nathan Fraley, Dane Le Platt, Mark Lyzenga and Nick Serrato. Mark Nyhoff went the distance and gave up five hits with a walk and four strikeouts.

Dordt falls to 5-20 overall and 3-11 in the GPAC while Midland improves to 7-7 and 24-18. Dordt has now been involved in ten games decided by one run this season and is 3-7 in those contests.
