Dordt College Baseball vs. Dakota Wesleyan

(Mitchell, South Dakota) Dordt College gave up four runs in the first inning and lost an eventual 5-1 game to Dakota Wesleyan to end the Dordt College season.
Wesleyan scored four runs on two hits and three walks in the first inning and then got another run in the fifth for a 5-0 lead.
Dordt was on the brink of a big inning in the sixth when Travis Dekkers singled in Jason Wapnick. Dordt had the bases loaded with one out but couldn't get the timely hit for more offense and stranded three runners.
Dordt was outhit 4-3 with Nate Fraley getting two and Dekkers one. Aaron Parks took the loss for Dordt in the start. Ryan Baas pitched the final five and two-third innings and allowed one run on two hits.
Dordt finishes the season with a 13-31 overall record and a 4-16 GPAC mark. Dakota Wesleyan is 22-29 overall and 10-8 in the GPAC with two games remaining.
