(Manhattan, Kansas) Dordt College defeated Manhattan Christian College on Friday in game one of their doubleheader by a 16-4 margin. The Defenders got a grand slam and five runs batted in by Travis Dekkers while Aaron Parks clubbed his first Dordt College homerun. Nathan Fraley, Nick Serrato and Dane Le Platt each had two runs batted in while Mark Lyzenga had three runs batted in on three hits.
Lucas Carls was the winning pitcher with six strikeouts in four innings.
