Dordt College Baseball vs. Mount Marty

(Yankton, South Dakota) Mount Marty took advantage of two errors in the fourth inning to turn a 2-0 game into a 6-0 lead on the way to an 8-0 win over the Dordt Defenders in game two of a doubleheader in Yankton, South Dakota.
Dordt was limited to two hits off of Mount Marty's Nick Huston with Taylor Wyatt getting a second inning single and Zach Staudt got a single in the seventh inning.
Patrick Sinnema took the loss after pitching four innings and allowed six runs on six hits with four walks and three strikeouts. Three of the runs given up by Sinnema were earned.
Huston did not allow any baserunners beyond Wyatt and Staudt, allowing no walks and he struck out five in the complete game win.
Dordt falls to 1-18 overall and 0-8 in league play while Mount Marty stands 13-15 and 6-4.
Dordt will host Midland on Saturday in GPAC action starting at 1:00.
