(Clearwater, Florida) The Dordt College baseball was done in by seven errors in game two of their doubleheader with Purdue North Central and lost a 15-8 decision in a game played at Clearwater, Florida.

Purdue North Central got three in the first and tacked on four more in the second after Dordt had plated a run in the second inning. The two teams traded two runs in the third and and each had three in the fourth. Dordt got the lead down to 12-7 but gave up three in the fifth before falling 15-8.

Dordt was out hit 16-11 with Nathan Fraley getting three hits with a run scored and two runs batted in. Tony Asta slugged a homerun and knocked in two while Kyle Davis knocked in three runs and was 1-4. Eric Torgerson was 3-4 at the plate and his courtesy runner, Phillip Sears, scored two runs. Morgan Halpert and Alex Brown each had singles in the loss.

Jacob Slings pitched the first two ant two-thirds innings and was charged with nine runs--three of them earned. Brad Trimm and Ryan Baas worked in relief and Baas walked two and struck out one.
