Dordt College Baseball vs. Purdue North Central

(Clearwater, Florida) A two run fifth inning was the difference as the Dordt Defender baseball team improved to 2-1 this season with a 2-0 win over Purdue North Central.

Patrick Sinnema kept North Central off balance the entire game in taking the win in 6 1/3 innings of work with four hits allowed, two walks and three strikeouts.

Alex Brown got Dordt on the board with an rbi ground out and Travis Feekes knocked in a run in to cap the scoring.

Feekes had two hits in the win with a single, double and base on balls. Travis Dekkers, Kyle Davis and Nathan Fraley all had a base knock each with Dekkers hitting a double. Ben Fife and Fraley had a run scored each and Tony Asta recorded tha save, getting the final two outs of the game with the tying run at the plate.
