Dordt College Baseball vs. Concordia

(Seward, Nebraska) The Concordia Bulldogs made the most of their opportunities in game one of their doubleheader in Seward, Nebraska. The Bulldogs won the game 5-1 with both teams getting six hits and stranding three runners along the way.
Dordt took the ealry lead with a run in the second with Kyle Davis hitting a single and after a sacrifice bunt and a ground out Morgan Halpert knocked Davis in.
Concordia scored one in the third, three in the fourth and one in the fifth for the lead and the eventual win. Dordt's Jensen Callaway went four and a third innings and allowed six hits with five runs, three of which were earned and walked three with one strikeout. Jake Slings went the final two and two-thirds and pitched hitless baseball and walked one batter.
Davis was 2-3 at the plate with one run scored. Josh Bowers had a double with Morgan Halpert, Travis Feekes and Tony Asta each getting a single. Halpert was credited with a run batted in.
