Dordt College Baseball vs. Peru State

(Peru, Nebraska) Patrick Sinnema scattered five hits in a complete game pitching performance but the Dordt Defender baseball team came up short in a 4-0 loss to Peru State on Saturday in non-conference baseball in Peru, Nebraska.

The Defenders allowed three runs in the third inning and another in the fourth in succumbing to the Bobcats in the opener of the doubleheader.

Dordt mustered four hits but committed two costly errors on defense in their third game against Peru State in two days. Ben Fife had a pair of hits for the Defenders with Evan Pheneger and Travis Feekes accounting for the other two Dordt base knocks.

Sinnema allowed three earned runs and walked one while striking out four in the six inning performance as Dordt slips to 2-7 for the season.
