Dordt College Baseball vs. Concordia

(Seward, Nebraska) The Concordia Bulldogs jumped on Dordt College immediately in game two of their doubleheader on the way to a five inning win of 13-2, sweeping the Great Plains Athletic Conference doubleheader in the process.
Kyle Dieleman was chased from the game two batters into the second inning, allowing 10 runs on nine hits with one walk and one strikeout. Bryan Diemer worked three innings of relief and allowed eight hits with three runs.
Bobby Lutke singled in the second inning and advanced on an error. Lutke was knocked in by Dillon Peters with a double. Peters also advanced on a throwing error on the play and later scored on a ground out by Travis Feekes to the right side of the infield for Dordt's two runs.
Eric Van Maanen was 2-3 while Lutke was 1-2 along with Peters.
Dordt Colleg slips to 3-11 in the GPAC and 5-21 overall while Concordia improves to 6-12 and 8-29. The Defenders' road swing continues with a pair of games against Midland Lutheran in Fremont, Nebraska on Saturday, April 21 at 1:00.
