(Sioux Center, Iowa) Dordt stayed home on Friday afternoon and played a double header against Nebraska Wesleyan winning the first game 4-2.

Dordt started early scoring 2 runs in the 2nd when Jon Ledeboer drove in Bobby Lutke for the first run of the game and Jeremy Hilt singled to send Ledeboer over the plate. Nebraska Wesleyan struck next tying the game in the 5th. In the bottom of the 5th Dordt scored another and put another on in the 6th--helped by three straight walks by John Held. Wesleyan was unable to answer and Dordt won their 4th game of the season 4-2.

Wesleyan scored 2 runs on 7 hits and no errors. Dordt scored 4 runs on 7 hits and no errors. Van Maanen, Peters, DeJong, Lutke, Bennett, Ledeboer and Hilt all attained 1 hit while Van Zanten, DeJong, Ledeboer and Hilt all had 1 rbi each.

Kyle Dieleman held Wesleyan at bay, earning the complete game victory, allowing seven hits and just two earned runs while walking one. The win was Dieleman's second of the season. The win snapped a six game Wesleyan winning streak.

Dordt rises to 4-15, 2-7 in conference play while Nebraska Wesleyan falls to 15-9, 7-4 in the GPAC.
