(Olathe, Kansas) The Dordt College Defender men opened the 2005 campaign with a 8-2 loss at Midamerican Nazarene in Olathe, Kansas. Brad Vanden Bosch, Nate Van Wyk, Derek Peters, Scott Boer and Nate Daane all had a hit for the Defenders and Brandon Haan took the loss on the mound.
