Small Groups
At the beginning of each semester students are encouraged to join a Small group. These groups are student-led, coordinated by a student volunteer, and under the supervision of the Campus Pastor.
Small groups differ in their purpose--some focus on sharing and prayer; others emphasize Bible study; others focus on accountability for life issues. The aim of every group however is that its members will be challenge and encouraged to grow--particularly in their relationship with God and others. This aim is accomplished in primarily two ways. First, groups are composed in such as way that students from different backgrounds and social groups interact and share their own perspectives on faith and life issues. Second it is hoped that groups will become cohesive through caring for each other and being accountable to each other. Such groups provide an excellent relational context within which a person may learn to shape his or her life by the word of God.
