The B.J. Haan Auditorium is used for chapel services, concerts, organ recitals, and other events. It seats approximately 1500 people. The auditorium showcases one of the finest pipe organs in the Midwest, a three-manual tracker-action organ featuring 37 stops, 57 ranks, and 2,865 pipes which range in speaking length from one inch to 16 feet. The Auditorium is also equipped with two concert grand pianos, a Steinway and a Kawai.

The mezzanine of the B.J. Haan Auditorium accommodates the office of IAPCHE (the International Association for the Promotion of Christian Higher Education).

The adjoining Music Building wing houses rehearsal rooms and studios for all of the musical organizations on campus, as well as vocal and instrumental practice rooms and music faculty offices. Students have access to mechanical action and electro-pneumatic pipe organs, upright and grand piano practice rooms, instrumental practice rooms, a Yamaha Disklavier, and a Dekker harpsichord.

The B.J. Haan Auditorium and adjoining music building were completed in 1979. The auditorium was named in honor of the first president of the college, who served in that capacity from its beginning in 1955 until 1982.
