What do we mean by stewardship? We believe God calls us to transform local and global food systems to reflect the biblical principles of justice, love for one’s neighbor, and care for creation. The Ag Stewardship Center (ASC) prepares you to work as a professional, servant-leader in agriculture.

Hands-on, applied learning at the ASC complements classroom instruction to give you a comprehensive agricultural education. Research projects and their results are shared with peers in class and regionally at field days, workshops, and conferences. Some examples of recent research projects include:
- Vistive™ soybean trial
- Processor-Preferred™ corn trial
- corn rootworm emergence and management trial
- field managed organically
- animal feeding trials with ethanol industry byproducts
- water quality
- small rodent populations in natural areas
The Ag Stewardship Center, located approximately two miles north of the college, consists of 270 acres, where livestock, row crops, small grains and produce are grown. Agricultural buildings and co-operating facilities are available for class sessions, student research, livestock production, and animal care.
