Jazz Band
The Jazz Band is a select group of 15 to 20 instrumentalists who perform a wide variety of jazz compositions. Often requested to play at community events, the jazz band has performed extensively, including performances with the virtuoso jazz trumpeter Rex Richardson, trombonist Tom Brantley, and percussionist David Gluck–all members of the exciting professional ensemble, Rhythm & Brass. The band is directed by Kevin Linder.

The Jazz Band has also been a part of several recent music tours and has attended festivals like the Elmhurst College (Illinois) Jazz Festivals.
Anyone interested in visiting a rehearsal of the Dordt College Jazz Band can come to the Instrumental Music Room (M108) on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
