Albert and LaVerne Boersma ScholarshipMr. Boersma funds this scholarship in memory of his wife LaVerne. This scholarship is for a Central Minnesota Christian High School graduate. Preference will be given to students who are members of a church in the reformed faith and who are interested in the pre-seminary program or teacher education program at Dordt College. Alumni Association Regional ScholarshipsThese scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen students who fully appreciate the mission of Dordt College. Applicants must have a 2.80 cumulative GPA and must write an essay about their desire to be a Dordt College student. At least one recipient will be selected from each alumni geographical area. These are one-year scholarships. It is highly recommended that the scholarship reference be written by a Dordt College alumnus. Dordt Development Foundation Activities Grants ProgramRecipients will be selected based on their participation in one of the following three high school activities programs: athletic, music or theatre. Any student who has completed an application form for a Dordt College Athletic Scholarship, Dordt College Music Scholarship or Dordt College Theater Arts Scholarship will automatically be considered for a Dordt Development Foundation Activities Grant. Gerald and Sue Baas Family ScholarshipRecipients selected for this scholarship must intend to major in nursing or in a pre-medicine program and have a 3.00 minimum cumulative GPA. Preference will be given to students who are Michigan or Wisconsin state residents.
