INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Applying

An application for admission should be made a minimum of three months in advance of the semester a student wishes to enter Dordt College. Admission for all international students is determined after the enrollment application, TOEFL scores, transcript(s), Statement of Faith, and ACT or SAT scores have been received.

  1. Application is FREE for all fall full-time freshman applicants. To apply online now, complete the following three items in the order listed (click here if you have forgotten your password):
    1. Create your account.
    2. Access your application.
    3. Change your password.
  2. TOEFL Scores: Dordt college requires an official score of at least 550 on the paper-based TOEFL (PBT) or 79 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT); or a 6.5 on the IELTS for admission for all non-native English-speaking students. Non-native speakers who have lived and have been schooled in English speaking countries for seven years or more or who have taken either the ACT or SAT may be exempt from this requirement.
  3. Have an official high school transcript of grades 9-12 sent to Dordt College. See the Transcript Request Form. If applicable, have an official academic transcript from each college you have attended sent to Dordt College.
  4. Have your ACT/SAT score reports sent to Dordt College.

  5. Please tell us about your faith background and why you are interested in a Christian education at Dordt College. (Essay length:  350-450 words)
