When you submerge yourself in working with hurting people, you find that you naturally turn to the Lord in prayer, and we are blessed for that.
I still communicate with some of the professors and they are valuable mentors to me. In 2009, I received my MSW from the University of South Florida. Because Dordt is an accredited program, I qualified for the advanced standing program and skipped two introductory semesters. I am now employed full time in the field as a therapist for sexually abused children and their families. I feel blessed for the training I received."
