Overview

As a Dordt college chemistry major, you’ll be challenged through in-depth class and lab work, summer research projects, and teaching assistantships. You’ll be in a learning environment that gives you access to a wide range of chemistry instrumentation, and you’ll experience the support of caring and dedicated faculty. Our highly trained and experienced faculty are readily available to help outside of class.
Dordt graduates who go on to graduate school regularly report that they are well-prepared for the rigors of graduate work. Dordt chemistry majors who have applied to medical school have had a nearly 100 percent acceptance rate over the past 25 years.
