- an ACT composite score of 28 or higher (or the SAT equivalent)
- a high school GPA of at least 3.5
- two letters of recommendation from people familiar with your academic motivation, achievement, and abilities. At least one letter (or both) must be from a teacher of one or more of your current or recent high school classes. It is your responsibility to ensure that the recommendation letters are sent.

Write a 1000-word, double-spaced essay that develops a thesis, uses the categories listed, and includes examples, to address the following question:
How have your academic experiences (identify specific courses, projects, books, teachers), interests, and aspirations given you a sense of calling as a Christian scholar?
Use the standard essay format, including heading and title.
The essay will be entirely your own work, without any help in writing or editing. You must send a signed statement to that effect for your application to be considered.
