CORE CURRICULUM

A Reformed Perspective

Dordt's Core helps students understand what it means to have a Reformed worldview or Christian perspective on life. Students critically read and reflect on writings by John Calvin, Abraham Kuyper, as well as other Reformed thinkers. Doing so helps students know why they think as they do or understand why they don't agree with what they're being taught. Students also take a upper-level course in Advanced Reformed Thought, applying a Reformed perspective in their major and the capstone course Core 399, Calling, Task, and Culture.
